Kelsi Reeves, LPC-A
Individual, Relationship, and Group Associate Therapist
Kelsi is a warm, experiential therapist known for deep emotional attunement and a curious, welcoming, non-judgmental presence. She integrates modern neuroscience, attachment theory, and relational psychology with insights from ancient wisdom traditions to support meaningful healing and growth. Clients often describe Kelsi as grounded, intuitive, and insightful—someone who helps them explore their inner world with compassion and curiosity.
Kelsi works with people in individual, relationship, and group therapy settings to untangle the root causes of suffering and break free from the addictive patterns, behaviors, beliefs, and substances we use to manage, escape, or soothe emotional distress—making space for self-trust and a sense of belonging. She also helps people explore and heal complex and attachment trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational challenges.
Kelsi supports people in developing healthier, more compassionate relationships—within themselves and with others—through experiential, insight-driven work. Her clinical style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and relational, prioritizing the creation of a safe and nurturing environment. She draws on present-moment awareness and a range of evidence-based experiential, humanistic, holistic, and psychodynamic modalities to support greater authenticity, connection, and aliveness.
Kelsi is sex-positive, kink-allied, and affirming of both non-monogamous and traditional relational structures. Her work is rooted in respect for diverse cultural, racial, sexual, and spiritual identities, and she is LGBTQIA+ affirming. Clients’ unique identities and relationship values are always met with curiosity, acceptance, and care.
Kelsi is passionate about the transformative power of group therapy and regularly facilitates interpersonal process groups focused on emotional awareness, communication skills, and relational resilience. She believes that healing in the presence of others—through shared vulnerability, honest feedback, and co-regulation—can deepen insight and accelerate change.
Kelsi’s personal experiences as a client in individual, group, and couples therapy at different life stages have deeply shaped her understanding of healing. Having worked with a range of therapeutic styles and clinicians, she understands how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and accompanied. These experiences inspired her to study the human condition and explore how the brain, mind, and relationships shape our lives. She brings this reverence into each session and continues to grow through personal study, expressive arts, mindfulness, and spiritual practice.
Before becoming a therapist, Kelsi spent 25 years in political and corporate advocacy, building coalitions and fostering social change. She holds a Master’s in Counseling from St. Edward’s University and a Bachelor’s in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin. Kelsi has trained with John Howard, Juliane Taylor Shore and Dr. Tori Olds and engages with the work of Bonnie Badenoch, Dr. Bruce Perry and Dr Jacob Ham and other leading voices in trauma and relational neuroscience. She is a lifelong learner and active member of Austin’s therapy community.
Outside the therapy room, Kelsi enjoys yoga, spiritual study, water-skiing, and time with loved ones—including her beloved dog.
