Carly Levine, PsyD, MBA (she/her/hers) is a compassionate and relatable therapist who utilizes her warmth and sense of humor to build a strong, supportive client/therapist relationship. She takes a curious, yet non-judgmental approach, engaging clients in a way that builds their sense of self-awareness and helps guide them through the journey of better understanding themselves and others and living a life consistent with their values.
Carly received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Widener University (APA Accredited). She completed her clinical internship rotations at a community behavioral health organization in Philadelphia where she worked with individuals with severe mental illnesses and substance use disorders. There she gained experience coordinating care with social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals.
Carly brings an integrative and acceptance-based approach to her work with clients, including using a variety of evidence-based practices and a biopsychosocial, holistic perspective. She likes working with clients to determine which techniques or methods resonate most with their treatment and personal goals and often focuses on skills such as building self-awareness, self-compassion, and developing effective relationships.
Carly has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, relational conflict, and neurodevelopmental disorders. In addition to traditional therapy, Carly has a background in executive coaching and assessment, working with a variety of employees and young adults in heightening their leadership and professional capabilities.
Furthermore, Carly has a vast amount of experience in conducting comprehensive psychological, neuropsychological, and personality assessments. Her work has included a wide spectrum of measures, including those assessing for ADHD, intellectual disabilities, learning disorders, psychological disorders, personality styles and disorders, cognitive functioning and dementia-related concerns, attachment styles, leadership traits and capabilities, and professional-geared personality styles.
Personally, Carly loves traveling and exploring new cities and countries. She enjoys binge watching TV shows and movies, painting, and has a strong passion for breakfast tacos. She loves comedy and strives to use humor as a means of furthering growth and appreciation for life, even during times of distress.
