Chris is originally from Houston, TX, and has been a lifelong Longhorn. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin after a short journey playing baseball for the Tulane Green Wave. He returned home to obtain his MD from Baylor College of Medicine before joining the UT Austin Dell Medical School Psychiatry Residency program, where he currently serves as Chief Resident.
Chris has worked with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. He is deeply committed to a humanistic, patient-centered approach, believing that every individual’s journey is unique and deserves personalized care. Chris strives to empower his patients, fostering resilience and well-being through a combination of evidence-based practices and compassionate care.
Chris and his wife are proud dog parents and enjoy long walks, exploring new cities, and drinking too much coffee.
