Madeline Divine
Practicum Student Therapist
Madeline is a graduate student in UT-Austin’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program who holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and business administration. She left a career in the global energy industry in 2015 and began a new pursuit: to better understand and improve the way we conceptualize and treat psychological symptoms. In addition to working with clients in therapy, Madeline conducts research at UT’s Clinical Neuroendocrinology Lab looking at how our biology influences our behavior, with a focus on the effects of hormones and stress. Her person-centered approach to therapy prioritizes compassion & collaboration, integrating a variety of evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral therapy. In her free time, you can find Madeline in the garden, on the dance floor, or camping with her dogs. Madeline will be a practicum student therapist at PRESENCE for the Fall of 2022 and the Spring of 2023.
