Amelia Blumenfeld
Student Therapist
Amelia is a student therapist currently pursuing her LPC license at St. Edward’s University in South Austin. She supports individuals, couples, and families as they move through life transitions, work to improve communication, connect with their authentic selves, and build strong, intentional relationships.
Driven by curiosity and compassion, Amelia is committed to creating authentic, empathetic, and mutually growth-fostering therapeutic relationships. She views therapy as a collaborative healing process, and she’s known for her way with words, her eye for patterns, her playful humor, and her fierce client advocacy.
Amelia’s trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach centers on helping clients feel safe, seen, and heard. She believes that people grow and heal through human connection and is particularly drawn to post-modern therapeutic approaches like Relational-Cultural Theory. She also incorporates techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support mindfulness, self-awareness, and intentional living. As a longtime yoga practitioner and RYT-200 instructor, Amelia naturally weaves yoga philosophy and mind-body-spirit alignment into her clinical work.
On her own time, Amelia enjoys riding bikes with friends, walking with her senior dog, practicing yoga, splashing in Barton Springs, and going to the movies.
