Adrien Paczosa, RD
Adrien is a food and nutrition expert who can translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. Part of her mission has been to create better access to nutrition and to dieticians. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian practicing in the State of Texas. She is also a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian and Supervisor (CEDRD-S). She has a Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois – Chicago and has worked in hospital settings including in downtown Chicago. In 2007, she founded iLiveWell Nutritional Therapy, one of the fastest-growing nutritional practices in Central Texas, where she currrently serves as its CEO.
Adrien is a past President of Austin Dietetic Association. She gives regular presentations on the intersection of mental health and nutrition to healthcare institutions, rehab clinics, and psychological practices. Through her educational work, she has sought to clarify the role of diet in the production of neurotransmitters and how to tailor diets in support specific health diagnoses. As a sought-after speaker, Adrien also lectures on eating disorders and addictions, and works with local and national media channels to promote nutrition and health.
Adrien has been active in local, state and national dietetic associations, volunteering her time and holding Board positions. She has served as a Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Media Representative, and as Chair of the Behavioral Health Nutrition (BHN) Dietetic Practice Group. Adrien’s husband is a pharmacist, and in between her time at her office and volunteering, you can find her enjoying fun, local restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family.
